A Poem: It Rains Again

自從窗戶漏雨就開始害怕下雨

It rains again

Hard to tell since when

The roads are flooded

The gardens soaked

But how wet is wet

It’s hard to define

It’s debatable

I worry about our windows

Leakage from last summer

old scars under new paint

But there is nothing I can do

Drowned in the sea of meetings

The whole morning wraps up

In brown bags of sandwiches

Meetings adjourn

For the chairman is hungry

On the other side of the wall

Nothing is out there

Except the rain
